1. Needed to deduct 1 star because app does not work with USB OTG.The layout is great as well as the navigation however I personally want the ads to disappear and for the app to be able to sense when a root is available from my personal library so that it can automate the rooting process.Nicely UI design, and the File Encryption is Good Idea! but I had Other little trouble, when I move a APK file from a Folder to another folder, that moved APK not able to visit the Icon?!!It's quite efficient at picking up and deleting useless files and folders without having to do a lengthy deep dive using the explorer.I started a local ftp server.

2. trying to find an app thats as close to " es file explorer" as much as possible.There is no option to get rid of the ubiquitous pestering ads by buying the software once and for all; one can only rent it, paying recurring subscription fees month after month, year after year, which are higher than most competitors' one-time purchase price for a lifetime licence.

3. Even if I configured an ftp client on other fs file explorer, it cannot connect to the ftp server.I'd like to buy this application and remove ads, but when I try it says "the item that you were attempting to purchase could not be found".

9. and also ive noticed either a lag time for the loading sequences when opening storage and folders...is it possible for that to be addressed unless thats supposed to be apart of the app.

1. Fix FS File Explorer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart FS File Explorer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the FS File Explorer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FS File Explorer" » Open FS File Explorer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FS File Explorer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear FS File Explorer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FS File Explorer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FS File Explorer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check FS File Explorer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FS File Explorer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall FS File Explorer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FS File Explorer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FS File Explorer not working

2. Fix FS File Explorer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FS File Explorer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FS File Explorer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FS File Explorer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
