1. Please note that this app requests location permissions because it is possible to determine a user's location based on proximity to publicly available Wi-Fi networks.
2. Any app that provides network scanning functions like this one will also require location permissions.
3. Network Explorer is an easy-to-use and comprehensive network scanning and reporting utility. 1. 2.
4. This is a requirement enforced by Google.
5. Network Explorer does not attempt to actually determine, save or transmit the user's location even when the location permission is given.
1. Now it doesn't detect anything, I'm sitting right to my router! I'll check again in the future.(unless I discover something else/ better to do the job).Very nice app, needs export list and rename (or editable name &or comment section) to be even more useful.
2. You'll waste your time!Great network utility! My only suggestion would be the ability to copy a devices IP and MAC address to the clipboard.4 stars when it worked.
3. Some Wi-Fi Apps are not very good, yet the rating is high, too high, & it's obvious the Reviews are fake.
4. STARS APP! The thing that gets me is some of these Reviews.
5. just mac addresses which are almost no use and relative signal strength (but no explanation).
6. I installed, played with all the settings, couldn't get it to work.
7. In my opinion, some Reviews for THIS App are absurd.
8. If you're a true Android Lover, like myself, you may not agree, but look into this.
9. it works ok just not much work happening.
10. All the devices are uncategorized or unknown, except 3.
