1. Olympic Ski Team found that ski jumpers who trained with Halo Sport increased propulsive force by an additional 13% and jump smoothness by an additional 11% over the control group after ten consecutive training days.
2. Halo Sport works by stimulating the motor cortex of the brain during training, resulting in stronger, more optimized signaling between the brain and muscles.
3. The underlying science behind Halo Sport is called transcranial direct current stimulation (“tDCS”). tDCS is backed by more than a decade of neuroscience research—3,000 peer-reviewed articles covering over 105,000 sessions speak to the technology’s safety and efficacy.
4. The Halo Sport app controls the Halo Sport headset, which is a wearable neurostimulator that accelerates improvements in skill, power, and endurance when paired with training.
5. With the Halo Sport app, users can choose from three different Neuropriming sessions: (1) Legs, Core, & Arms, (2) Hand & Fingers - Right Emphasis, and (3) Hand & Fingers - Left Emphasis.
6. Simply saturate the Primers with water, put on Halo Sport like any other pair of headphones, and use the Halo Sport app to initiate a 20-minute Neuropriming session.
7. You can see more examples of athletes and musicians training with Halo Sport at youtube. com/c/HaloNeuroscience.
8. For best results, use Halo Sport during a 20-minute warm-up prior to focused, movement-based training.
9. In addition, Halo Neuroscience’s team of doctors, scientists, and engineers built Halo Sport according to medical-grade specifications, and successfully tested the device on more than 1,400 volunteers.
10. Every day, thousands of athletes, musicians, gamers, military professionals, and others train with Halo Sport to more rapidly develop muscle memory.
11. According to the selected session, Halo Sport’s foam Primers electrically stimulate specific areas of the motor cortex to induce a temporary state of hyperplasticity.
1. The app installs the headset connects to the devices, and I can use them to listen to music but... On the pixel4a I get as far as the permission screen and it locks up, on the pixel2 it pairs but when I get to the screen to pick a session, the app keeps finding and dropping the headset connection (but phone still held connection for music), the ipad version just never saw the headset through the app but the ipad paired ok.
2. Thanks!Frustrating, using for sports practice and by the time I managed to get through the 20 minute program (about 40 minutes) because of constant reconnecting and that bloody awful annoying beeep I'd be so frustrated and angry I wouldn't want to practice.
3. They should consider adding some basic ambient minimalist audio tracks into the interface, sometimes a user would like a quick and easy option instead of having to hunt an accompanying audio track down.
4. This is disappointing as my old tablet can connect, but my phone can't even though it's running an operating system that is compatible according to the support page.
5. Very frustrating product because it's great if it ever works, but it will pause and resume off and on constantly without adjusting. The only real problem is connection, but I just get the primers soaking wet.
6. Sure having water drip down your scalp all over the place is kind of annoying, but working out isn't ever pretty and this tool is invented to hack human nature not be comfortable.
7. These audio tracks could be progressive, tuned to coincide with beats in the neuropriming session itself.Sorry, I really tried to embrace it.
8. If you are having difficulty connecting the device, it explains that the device may need to be deleted and disconnected from Bluetooth then start a new installation.
9. However, I can't get thing to go through an entire session without pausing; I've tried everything outside of shaving my head (don't have long hair).
10. Almost never "connects" to head unless I am dripping water down my head and clamp down on the top of the headset with one hand, literally driving the spikes into my head.
11. I am sad to learn it has been discontinued. All of a sudden the app no longer pairs with the device no matter what I've tried.
