About instax SHARE

1. You can enjoy beautiful instax print by simply selecting best shots in your smartphone or tablet within less than a minute. *With regard to customers who use Android ver. 6. 0. x or later, there is a case that the connection between the smartphone and the printer does not work if GPS function is OFF.

2. "instax SHARE" is FUJIFILM official application that can be used to print images from smartphones to instax SHARE smartphone printer.

3. "instax SHARE" is an app to print images from your smartphone with the smartphone printer instax SHARE SP-1/SP-2/SP-3(FUJIFILM).

4. Follow the steps below to turn your GPS function on. (5) If communication is still not possible after performing steps (1) to (3), turn the position information setting in (3) off and back on again, then try connecting to the printer again.

5. For the customer corresponding to this phenomenon, please turn on the GPS function when you use instax SHARE.

6. It is sometimes not possible to connect to the printer when the GPS function of your Android device is turned off.

7. Some or all of the functions of the "instax SHARE" app cannot be used unless the following authority settings are enabled for the app.

9. Select image from Photos or SNS, or take photo with a smartphone camera. 4.

instax SHARE Customer Insights

1. Update: between this and issues with the camera app connecting to my camera, someone needs to be fired! I can't recommend Fuji products anymore at this point.The app hasn't updated in a couple of years, but it doesn't really impact user experience - it's fun to print cell phone photos onto Instax film.

I was having that same issue today and for the life of me I couldn't make it work (I tried various things) until I remembered that along with turning on the wifi you also have to turn on your location! That's what made my printer finally sync! It's a great printer once it works.Great app, prints fast and great for party settings.

3. I get the error message "could not connect to printer." The physical "reprint" button on the printer still works, but it will only print the most recent image sent to the printer.

4. Fix it, Fuji!When I try to connect to my SP3 from my phone to print, the green light with however many frames left indication switches to a flashing red light with a full frame count bar then shuts off.

5. Looking for alternative portable photo printers now.I dug my old printer out of storage after several years and reinstalled this app because I wanted to print some photos.

6. If I get the red light flashing when I connect I just turn back on the printer and connect while holding the power button.

7. Instax Mini Link printer is so much better, no hitches and great connectivity with all the cool filters and settings.

8. I recently got a new phone and updated the app and it takes between 5 and 10 attempts to connect before I'm able to successfully print.

9. I have to force close the app completely, turn on the printer, and connect to it via Wi-Fi.

10. I connected the printer terminal to my old phone and is working perfectly.

11. And finally, the app just refuses to connect to the printer.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix instax SHARE Issues

1. Fix instax SHARE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart instax SHARE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the instax SHARE App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "instax SHARE" » Open instax SHARE » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for instax SHARE » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear instax SHARE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from instax SHARE servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "instax SHARE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check instax SHARE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, instax SHARE might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall instax SHARE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall instax SHARE then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing instax SHARE not working


2. Fix instax SHARE Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make instax SHARE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to instax SHARE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, instax SHARE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
