1. If my screen goes black or if the app isn't on my screen the whole time (like if I want to change my song on spotify) it stops tracking my distance instantly.

2. 😐I have used Runkeeper for a couple of years, and have always liked that it would run in the background giving updates on my pace, distance, and average per mile every 5 minutes.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ASICS Runkeeper Issues

1. Fix ASICS Runkeeper Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ASICS Runkeeper: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ASICS Runkeeper App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ASICS Runkeeper" » Open ASICS Runkeeper - Run Tracker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ASICS Runkeeper » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ASICS Runkeeper - Run Tracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ASICS Runkeeper servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ASICS Runkeeper - Run Tracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ASICS Runkeeper app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ASICS Runkeeper might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ASICS Runkeeper. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ASICS Runkeeper then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ASICS Runkeeper not working


2. Fix ASICS Runkeeper Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ASICS Runkeeper be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ASICS Runkeeper not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ASICS Runkeeper may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
