Private Photo Vault Customer Insights
1. If I really like an app, if worth it I'll pay a lot more than the standard app paid versions generally are, but subscribing? That's a real turn off.Big Cons.. well on 1 end I forgot my password to my album and thought I had lost access to the files but found out that that all I had to do was click edit and then I was able to just delete the password and see all my photos.
2. This wouldnt be a problem if I was just uploading a whole album at once, but when you are frequently uploading several photos or videos at a time, it makes keeping things in order auite annoying.
3. The update erased all photosI downloaded and bought the pro version of this app on my samsung tablet expecting it to be the same as the iOS version, but then I noticed that the album names weren't showing and the thumbnails of albums were very small and only 2 - 3 album folders would show in the entire screen.
4. Adding any photos to the vault gives you the option to delete it from your phones album and keep it there, but revert if needed.
5. The even bigger issue that has happened 2 times now is somehow after importing the photos to the vault the next day they were back in my gallery and had uploaded to google photos !!!The app requires you to pay to store more than a handful of photos.
6. I won't bring it down from 5-star but I truly believe this would set apart photo-vault from the rest!!!Stores your photos and videos fine, as well as deletes them automatically from gallery (Not even to the trash, which is great for privacy).
7. I would love to give this app 5 stars, but I can't bring myself to do that with these obvious issues.This app is fantastic and super easy to use! Even the free version is incredibly helpful.
8. Love that it tells you the date and time you imported a photo.Update: After a little back and forth to find the exact issue, the developers built an update to fix the problem.
9. But every time it tries to retrieve the photos I had it gives me a "data/logic error while attempting to synchronize".
10. This is not an issue on iOS however.Unless I'm missing something, the only paid version that I see is a monthly or yearly subscription vs a one time purchase fee.
11. **Saving gifs doesn't work anymore(the gif itself was corrupted, Sorry about that!)I've used this app for a very long time and I don't regret paying for the full version.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Private Photo Vault Issues
1. Fix Private Photo Vault Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Private Photo Vault: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Private Photo Vault App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Private Photo Vault" » Open Private Photo Vault » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Private Photo Vault » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Private Photo Vault app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Private Photo Vault servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Private Photo Vault" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Private Photo Vault app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Private Photo Vault might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Private Photo Vault. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Private Photo Vault then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Private Photo Vault not working
2. Fix Private Photo Vault Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Private Photo Vault be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Private Photo Vault not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Private Photo Vault may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

This is my 4th time writing. Please can you respond asap?
Please can you help me to recover my photovault file? I have a new phone and when I add the photovault app it’s not giving me a chance to log in. It just goes straight to wanting me to start a NEW photovault folder.
How can I retrieve my original vault folder please? I know my original password.

Hi guys, I am wondering if you could make sure all photos / videos are erased from the device that I lost as I am scared someone will see them. I have requested google erase the phones data, but I cannot track the phone so I am worried as there are a lot of personal photos. My google play account that has downloaded this app uses the email colmcunneen2@redacted and I had downloaded it on my xiaomi phone. Hi,
My iPhone 11 Pro Max crashed last week and I went to the Apple Store to restore my phone. However, when they restored it they didn’t select the option to transfer over my current apps. I was told I could go to the App Store and download all my purchased apps. I was able to download the Photo Vault app but it’s like a brand new app. I’ve signed in but it’s now asking me to purchase it. How can I retrieve the photos and videos stored on that app? Hi,

Two of the folders within my vault with passwords are not able to be accessed even though I believe I know what the passwords are. I’ve tried several and after a while it asks if I want recovery hint sent to email and I say yes, then I get this message (see attached).
I thought it could be that that email had not been used in over a year but I reactivated the email this morning and tried again and get the same message.
