1. I think it's fair to charge a subscription for a cloud service, but customizing is not a cloud service, I would prefer to just pay for the app out right.I've been looking for an app to do this! I love the sync feature; I can see ny photos at any time on any device.
2. Advertising doesn't directly state on-device encryption, but I expected it given the ads emphasis on security.Great idea and the paid version is cool but if you want the basic, everytime you open it, it will make you look at the pros of paid and you cant jist back out, you have to go through then select "switch to basic".
3. Photos in the app's data folder are unencrypted - in order for an attacker to use this vector, they would need to have root access (through an Android exploit), but nonetheless, if that access is obtained, photos are directly accessible.
4. The only feature the subscription offers that I want is the ability to customize folders so my photos can be hidden when in the app.
5. You can't rearrange photos in an album unless you put them into the album one at a time in the order you want.
6. Trying to do so usually results in a 'cannot connect to private cloud' error and urges me to make sure I'm connected to the internet even when I'm using a WiFi signal with full bars.
7. I wish there was a separate option for only importing videos like with photos.
8. I even tried to change the name of the photos. The app was wonderful during the free trial, but now that it's ended, performance is almost non-existent.
9. It's a good app for keeping passwords, credit card information, or anything else you want to keep private.
10. Also, there is no clear indicator inside the settings for enabling/disabling the private cloud. The app works well, but there is no sorting feature.
11. Also, I have a passcode on mine and I have opened it up and it went to my photos for a second before going back to the passcode.
