Webex Meetings Customer Insights

1. This was the first time I used my phone and everything worked great! (Except for vocal explained earlier)The sound was terrible, couldn't get it to play through the Bluetooth car connection (everything else played fine, so it wasn't me) and I could barely hear it on my phone speaker (again, not an issue with my device).

2. Seems like a ridiculous feature miss in an otherwise (relatively) solid product.Very seamless meeting experience on my Android phone, although I somehow jumped into audio only and could not find a way to go back to normal mode to view the presenter's screen for the remainder of the meeting.

3. Hope I don't have to use the app ever again but if I do I will definitely get set up well in advance.Terrible audio ... using the "Speaker" option, sound came in and out for the entire meeting, but there was mostly silence.

4. Tried the "Phone" option which seemed to work better except that at full volume, it was so low, I couldn't hear it to understand what was being said.

5. I know I will keep it on my phone for future use! Thank you for making this extremely user friendly!The control buttons are easy to operate and understand.

6. Some nice features, but one-click access to them would definitely be helpful, especially when one has to switch from the video stream to the concurrently running chat feature (and back again) to fully experience the webinar.App works okay for meetings on the go.

7. Need to figure out a better "first-time user experience."On the plus side, audio and video quality seems good.

8. I don't know if I did something to cause this or if my signal strength dropped anentd my phone automatically converted the connection to audio only.

9. Tried to connect by phone call and it would never work.

10. Call quality was a challenge and when the app was minimized to a smaller picture, it did not respond to the taps to being it full size again.

11. I am not tech savvy and I usually have issues not only trying to set up the app, but also usually have issues with having to go through multiple steps just to connect with the call.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Webex Meetings Issues

1. Fix Webex Meetings Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Webex Meetings: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Webex Meetings App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Webex Meetings" » Open Webex Meetings » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Webex Meetings » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Webex Meetings app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Webex Meetings servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Webex Meetings" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Webex Meetings app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Webex Meetings might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Webex Meetings. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Webex Meetings then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Webex Meetings not working


2. Fix Webex Meetings Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Webex Meetings be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Webex Meetings not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Webex Meetings may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
