Film Maker Pro Customer Insights

1. A word of warning: the films delete themselves if you delete the clips you used from your camera roll, so make sure to download the films.I've been using this app since March 2020, and always recommend it to everyone who asks, but I see that more and more often my videos have glitches throughout, both while editing and after saving which is highly annoying and very discouraging to say the least.

2. Great app, changes are needed.Great smooth functioning app, I've been using it for the last 4 months straight every single day editing videos, and I must say that I'm pleased with the content and features of the app.

3. The app is great, with tons of features, intros, stickers, music, voice over and other editing options, so I hope the team can figure this issue, which tends to worsen with longer videos.

4. Please, help!!! đŸ˜©đŸ˜©I love this app and it is amazing!! I've only had it for a few days and it worked fine!! However, I was trying to edit a video then all if a sudden the music and everything was going so slow.

Take note it's biggest issue that I have found was that when you're saving it it will look like it freezes up, You can leave it alone just give it a lot of time and it will eventually go past that or you can click on the cancel and then cancel the cancel and a lot of times it will cause it to continue to save your video.

6. My only complaint at this point, is that over the last 2 weeks I've been getting a minor glitch in the font when I apply text to video .

7. It has great effects and music scores, and full of modern templates.

8. Is pretty good considering you know some things are a little bit difficult to understand but we do catch on eventually you can do some pretty awesome videos add extra cool effects add extra cool effects.

9. The first time I shared one the process went smoothly, but now it continues to crash whenever I try to share my film, with a pop up saying "Export failed, try it again!".

10. Easy to use, great features & filters, and interface is pretty easy to navigate & figure out.

11. Aside from that, no complaints! 👍🏿I love the app, it's professional and easy to use, however I am having trouble exporting my films.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Film Maker Pro Issues

1. Fix Film Maker Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Film Maker Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Film Maker Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Film Maker Pro" » Open Film Maker Pro - Movie Maker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Film Maker Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Film Maker Pro - Movie Maker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Film Maker Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Film Maker Pro - Movie Maker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Film Maker Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Film Maker Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Film Maker Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Film Maker Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Film Maker Pro not working


2. Fix Film Maker Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Film Maker Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Film Maker Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Film Maker Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I pay you guys monthly and every so often I get a water mark with your company’s name WTF is going on ? I don’t pay 30 bucks a month to have video editor that has your logo at the bottom on my video ! That won’t look great on YouTube will it ! What are you doing ? Get rid of that water mark or I will cancel my subscription because you guys are joking if you think I want your logo on my videos on YouTube it happens every so often and I have a monthly subscription so that shouldn’t be happening, I can’t use your service if you ruined it by having your logo on my videos

  • Hello Customer Service,
    I made a Pro purchase for Your Application paying a one time purchase. This is confirmed by a debit on my account but on waking up today to use the App, I found a watermark re-added. What's going on? Was I cheated? Please explain the irregularity.

  • I was at the middle of attaching pictures to my video that suddenly it stopped working. It doesn’t show the pictures on the video anymore and just shows a dotted frame. How can this be fixed? This is very frustrating, as it is a very important and time sensitive matter to me. Please reply ASAP. Thanks.
