CyberArk Identity Customer Insights

1. When accessing the app on my laptop, no issue! Before when logging in on my iPhone, no issue! So, APD providers have been getting flagged for location violations because this app! Not good!When it works it is ok.

2. One improvement would help, if possible - when approving an auth request via the Notification bar swiping down - the App won't actually acknowledge/submit the approval *until* the notification panel is swiped back up to hidden.

3. Would be better if the approval event fired immediately when tapping on the notification option.This app does not allow geolocation for Android devices.

4. I sent them a message to put the previous version on the Play Store until they fix the issue.With the update I've lost all the tokens I had synced.

5. The bug or whatever it is having right now needs to be fixed so I can see my grades, please!For a couple of months now, hitting the back button on the app pulls up the last (already approved) authentication request.

6. At the very least let me keep my tokens.Installed on my personal phone in order to use programs required for work.

7. This happens when the app is opened following a notification, not just opening the app for itself.Gets stuck on Android OS when composing messages or replying, even after clearing the cache.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix CyberArk Identity Issues

1. Fix CyberArk Identity Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart CyberArk Identity: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the CyberArk Identity App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CyberArk Identity" » Open CyberArk Identity » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CyberArk Identity » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear CyberArk Identity app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CyberArk Identity servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CyberArk Identity" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check CyberArk Identity app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CyberArk Identity might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall CyberArk Identity. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CyberArk Identity then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CyberArk Identity not working


2. Fix CyberArk Identity Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CyberArk Identity be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CyberArk Identity not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CyberArk Identity may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
