Color Portfolio Customer Insights

1. When you add colors to your favorites, they're added to a fixed list,the swatches can't be moved to see if this color matches that one... Does not sync with website or store system.

2. Search results don't show a color's number so it's near impossible to select a color from the cards without knowing its number beforehand.

3. You take a picture, select a surface, apply a color.

4. Suddenly now when I use the wand the entire photo is filled with one solid color.

5. Then you create a new layer and apply a second color to a second surface.

6. Then if you try to change either color - what if that wall were green, instead of blue? - every defined surface changes together.

7. Can't select color to use from the search results.

8. Disappointing to see that the color reader function requires a really expensive device.Just stopped working correctly.

9. That app showed what colors went well with another color.

10. I could go through all the swatches and search for that color one by one but then that would defeat the purpose of the search bar doesn't it.

11. There is no way to start a search for a color by color family....only Collections.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Color Portfolio Issues

1. Fix Color Portfolio Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Color Portfolio: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Color Portfolio App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Color Portfolio" » Open Color Portfolio » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Color Portfolio » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Color Portfolio app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Color Portfolio servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Color Portfolio" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Color Portfolio app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Color Portfolio might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Color Portfolio. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Color Portfolio then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Color Portfolio not working


2. Fix Color Portfolio Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Color Portfolio be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Color Portfolio not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Color Portfolio may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
