1. Perhaps ths is a tool best used on the interior. Not good so far, picture gets taken in app and only 1/3 of it shows on screen with a black space then the colors to choose from at the bottom weird glitch, not working out, photos taken from app are dark and dull so what you want will be recommended in a darker shade or different color all together! Laughable app! Not good at all! It's basically the eye dropper tool from Windows 95/98/2000/xp paint program..it enhance my knowledge of architectural color selection and color combination.
2. (Update)- Tried the latest update.. no crashing, however, color suggestions are nowhere close.. using BM color strips it doesn't identify the color.. the suggested colors are way off..Unfortunately the app crashes just after tutorial on my Pixel 2.
3. This is a good start, I tried it using my phone camera to take photos of the siding on my house.
4. Ultimately i was able to get an agreeable color using photos from two different spots on the house.
5. I advice who ever want to go far in house painting business should first start with bejaminm moore color capture.
6. Every time i try to run this app it crashes after I click, "get started." I guess I can't get started...As another reviewer noted, this app does not load past the tutorial for a Pixel XL.
7. This app wants permissions that they have no need for it and should have no desire for!tried re opening, tried restarting my phone, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
8. I then installed the app on my wife's iPhone 6, and each time I try and upload a photo it crashes... Not great.Google SAYS you can control permissions.
9. You can't turn off their permission that lets it troll through your phone and see what other apps you have running, you can't turn off their permission that lets it tell know where you are.
10. thanksDoesn't quite nail down any color.
11. Like chasing water around the screen it reads every pixel and just gives you hundreds of options.
