1. The Jira Data Center app lets teams who use Jira collaborate and give updates from anywhere. • Jira Software (Data Center) instances running Jira 8. • Jira Service Management (Data Center) instances running versions 4. 15 and later.
2. If your version number starts with 1000, then you'll need the Jira Cloud app instead.
3. To check if this is the right app for your site, open Jira in your browser and go to Help ( ? ) > About Jira.
4. If your Jira version number is 8. 3 or later you can use this app!
5. Shake your device with the app open to message the product team, or email us at jira-server-mobile@atlassian. com.
6. We want to hear from you!
7. Prior to login, we collect some anonymous info from the app to help us make sure the app is working well.
1. Fiddly user interface, missing skeuomorphisms that we already have in the website such as subtasks looking identical to tasks, glitches resulting in ticket UI hovering modally over arbitrary screens, missing basic functionality like coping a link share..shares links as a New Document.
2. Seems like an auth issue of some sort because I'm required to log out and back in for it to work.Very basic app as it shows the site inside the app without any mobile display optimisation and it always asks for the URL and login details.
3. I'll receive a generic notification that "something" has happened to an issue or board but I'm unable to click on it to view the activity.
4. But it shows only some basic actions without access to help desk ticketsFor what it does do, it does pretty well.
5. When trying to create a new issue all I seem to receive is errors suggesting the field isnt supported yet.
6. It is jira app, they have to fix it instead of suggesting to login again :(Only useful for watching the current sprint.
7. Does not support custom add-on fields, time tracking field or message fields.
8. In the app the oldest comment is listed first with no option to reverse sorting to newest first (seems not so obvious to the developer).
9. Very disappointed..Very good tool for Dev teams.Mediocre and slightly dangerous - accidental changes to your JIRA tickets is possible with this app.
10. But the majority of my work is in service desk projects, so this isn't terribly useful to me right now.
11. I prfer using direct browser access as it is more reliable.
