Amazon Fire TV Customer Insights

1. Why not just make it just like the real remote with the added functionality of the keyboard? If you're gonna spend the time to make the app why leave out such a big detail? After my dog chewed up my fire remote, I tried a couple of different apps.

2. Main glitch I encountered was sometimes when I clicked a direction, it would disconnect and continuously go that direction until I could reconnect.Desperately needs volume control! Thats the only real gripe I have is that if I can't find my remote, I can't control the volume without flipping over to another app that can control my TV or soundbar.

3. Forget even trying to use the Alexa button, it disconnects every time I try.Would be really nice except 99% of the time I can't even watch TV because my TV (but every single other in the house) does not show up in the available devices to connect to no matter what I do .

4. *** UPDATE *** having your Bluetooth on phone turned on helps connectivity consistency tremendously! still has issues sometimes and still runs and glitches/freezes etc like all the time thoTakes quite a time long to activate, then once it's on my TV screen.

5. There have been two occasions where it has failed to connect, which caused a bit of frustration, but I was able to work through it by resetting the fire box and wifi router then running the set up again.

6. I have an iPhone as well and it is layer out fully.I left my remote at home when packing and needed to find a way to use my Fire Stick.

7. Other than that, it is a good, user friendly, app that fulfills it's purpose.PLEASE allow the user to customize their own button locations, or move the first row of buttons (back, home, etc.) to the TOP of the touchpad.

8. Otherwise, this is a good backup just to keep on the phone for when the remote is lost.My daughter lost the remote for the living room TV.

9. lost my remote and didn't have enough money to spare for a new one, so this app works very well as a replacement until I can save a little bit, it can be annoying sometimes though it can be overlooked.

10. I highly recommend this fire remote app!Pretty good.

11. Connectivity is so-so, sometimes it finds my fire sticks, sometimes not and I have to unplug them from the TV to get them to show up.
