1. In the android version, anything before 10am on the hour section is blank so you have to guess the number, which is really annoying for morning commutes in a rush. This app really winds me up! Every time a screen opens and I press an option, the screen shifts down to accommodate the adverts which means I end up clicking on something I had not intended! The timing is perfect to guarantee this happens every time.
2. Why not just leave enough space for the advert in the first place??? It also times out too quickly so that if you switch apps after just a few minutes you can continue where you left off! Come on guys, these are very easy problem to fix!The perfect companion app for Britain's railways, since it is either unreliable or doesn't work at all (including popping random "app has stopped working" messages on screen at unexpected times).
3. Take a good hard look at yourselves and think, is this really what you want to be doing with your life? Get rid of the adverts and offer it ad free.A very useful tool for monitoring train times and departures, however the developers need to stop adverts popping up and resizing the screen all the time.
4. Why not set the screen so there is space for the advert to appear, even if it hasn't had chance to load yet? Simply no reason for screens to be jumping around as you're about to press on an item.I use it for checking train times and whether there are delays and it does that well, but there is one irritation: there's a small advert at the top of the train times etc.
5. So, generally it's a good app but can be annoying to use.Great UX design (/s), you know when it takes that extra second to load in the silly advert at the top of the page, causing you to click it when you are attempting to enter the departure station.
6. But, why the 1 second delay in displaying the advert? The number of times I've pressed on the wrong thing, due to the screen suddenly shifting downwards, for the advert to appear at the top, is ridiculous.
7. The filters are OK but they need to do better at saving properly, for example if you change the TO/FROM stations, they don't seem to get saved and so I spent time manually inputting the stations I am going to/from.
8. I used it to pin a widget to my home screen for my commute, but it never shows any data and if I try to refresh it, after a very long delay, it reports there are no trains between the stations I have chosen even though there are.
9. I understand wanting to generate advertising revenue, but just fix the advert in place... It can't be hard to achieve.Doesn't work.
10. Great app, not experienced any of the crashing that has been reported by others but has been showing me the train times reliably whenever I open the app and need to get going.
11. App needs better shortcuts for saved journeys so that searching for times is just a case of a single tap.The functionality in the app works, so you can get live or future train times.
