1. If you want to free yourself from the tyranny of a Live TV provider that decides how long you keep recordings, how many you can have, what the Guide looks like, where you can watch a particular show (localization), whether you can skip ads or not, puts unwanted advertising in the Guide, and leases you hardware for monthly fees for all of this, well then Emby is an alternative that allows you to take back control.Worked great for about a year, then stopped playing the last several minutes of TV episodes.
2. CC works fine when I'm viewing in my Chrome browser. If I'm not mistaken this is a very new release? Or was it the Server for the nVidia Shield TV? First off the Pros: Emby does what Plex doesn't! What is it exactly that Plex can't do? I hear you ask.
3. And they want me to pay for Emby Premium? For the most part everything works fine, but when I have multiple versions of recorded TV shows and movies, it will only play the original video file.
4. I really enjoy using it on a daily basis.Nice app, works very well and fluid on Android TV, I will like to support the app, but the videos in portrait mode (I have a lot from my smartphone) are played in the wrong orientation, and try to correct the visualization on each one with the button, not always fix it, besides doing it in each one them.
5. Are you working on fix this issue? thanks The videos were recorded with my smartphone, stored on server, hosting with Emby server, and watched on my TV with Android TV (Sony brand)Please fix resume.
6. For example this is the only app that messes with Bluetooth whenever it's run, my TV doesn't recognize connected Bluetooth headphones, the start/pause button on my headset doesn't work.
7. The Google TV app is what we use on our two major TVs and Chromecast on the third and we use Emby as the DVR, the Live TV provider, and the media library (not music, however).
8. This doesn't work on my Pixel 7 and it doesn't work on my Google TV (with Chromecast).
9. Pause, come back 10 min later, and resume simply doesn't work.
10. Emby is a great product that runs on just about everything and Emby Premier is a good value considering what it does and what you can do with it.
11. Doesn't do it on my phone, however, only my Chromecast with Google TV.It is great.
