I had hoped that it used the wifi connection to the a6400 to control it as per Imagine Edge (but better), but this is not the case.The app is working fine with line 2 Sony alpha, but if you have line 3, just as a7m3 or a7rmr you need to buy the pro version of the app to control, yes it worth it and cheaper than buying extra gear, you need to be aware of, your phone must have IR feature in order to use this app, you can't remote by wifi or Bluetooth, time laps in this app isn't working most of time, bulb mode is only working when you set your physical shutter dial turned to bulb mode otherwise you can't switch by app.Good app, it works when I enabled IR settings from my Sony A6400.

2. Please helpThe amount got deducted for pro version but it didn't get updated.. I still don't have the pro version.. And there's no customer service.Wondering if the Pro version works on Sony A7r2 before purchasing.

6. Perhaps I didn't read the description properly (or hoped in vein), but this app requires your phone to have an IR blaster to work.

1. Fix Sony Camera Remote Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Sony Camera Remote: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Sony Camera Remote App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sony Camera Remote" » Open Sony Camera Remote » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sony Camera Remote » click "UPDATE".
