1. Thank goodness I waited a few days! If you want an app full of ads, this is for you! It has a counter for keystrokes (about 10) then a full screen ! AWFUL!!!Uninstall and reinstall every couple of days to watch the TV, keep loosing signal with wifi, no volume control and the never ending ads on remote and the pop-up commercials interrupting the programs are very long and not necessary.

2. Uninstalling immediately, and cancelling the premium.Fine except for the fact that an ad pops up literally every time you touch the screen! App opens to an ad you have to exit out of to launch the remote.

3. Lasted 48 hours, went & bought a new remote! Not worth the hassle!!I was hoping to be able to use my phone to connect to the tv instead of having to utilize the controller every time.

4. You have to look at the remote the entire time otherwise you'll be clicking on ads all the time! It is positively ridiculous! Lord help you if you use the search feature! I'll be deleting it as soon as my new remote arrives.The app asks me to rate it right after downloading....uh NO.

5. I even signed up for the premium to utilize the mirror feature, and that just seemed to make it worse! It mirrored my phone for a few minutes, then that screen started freezing up too! I'm really disappointed in this app.

6. After that every time you change channels, or any other function an ad pops up and you have to close it before the remote will do whatever it was you selected.

7. Seems scammy.Basically this app sucks! I give it 2 stars because it was easy to start using right away, however ads pop up iterally every three or four pushes of a button! If you try to get to a specific show you'll have to x out of four or five ads that pop up randomly and unannounced.

8. I do not like the new and not improved Roku Remote!I grabbed this because the navigation buttons on my remote froze (no, I did not spill anything on it).

9. Disaster! I can't turn the TV's volume, I can't power off, I can't go to apps without the purchase screen popping up.

   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Remote Control » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Remote Control for RokuTV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Remote Control servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Remote Control for RokuTV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Remote Control app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Remote Control might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Remote Control. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Remote Control then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Remote Control not working

2. Fix Remote Control Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Remote Control be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Remote Control not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Remote Control may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
