Trifo Home Customer Insights

1. Max's movement patterns seem fine so far - my only criticism is that if it manages to beach itself on something, the robot's reaction is to try to power forward rather than back away.Update: worst app and product ever.

2. I can never let it clean and return to the charging station by itself, it will clean the room then get stuck in an endless loop going round in a small triangle pattern.

3. Also the manual mode has some lag and the robot responds with delayRobot used to work fine, now it simply will not learn the room despite being completely reset.

4. At least the robot can vacuum even without the app, but I have no way of knowing if it is stuck on something without the app sending notifications now.The server for the United States was not working properly.

5. Everything currently in the app works fine though I do really want to see the mapping functionality extended so that you can designate zones etc and perhaps correct the robot scan.

6. Day 2...Emma keeps trying to clean one corner and refuses to go anywhere else then gets lost and I have to pick it up manually to place on charge.

7. I have been emailing tech support, They are currently fixing it, and my robot vacuums are up and running with the app again.

8. It'll clean for about 5 minutes, chaotically moving in the same general 4x4 foot area and then claim it's done and head back to it's charger, which it apparently is unable to remember where it is.

9. Only way to function is turn her off completelyStopped working After around a year the app stopped contacting the vaccum and they won't sync up.

10. The vaccum is fine and it appears on the network when I do the QR code step, but the app/server doesn't find my vaccum.

11. Day 1..the app and Emma vacuum worked fine...seconds to connect.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Trifo Home Issues

1. Fix Trifo Home Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Trifo Home: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Trifo Home App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Trifo Home" » Open Trifo Home » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Trifo Home » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Trifo Home app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Trifo Home servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Trifo Home" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Trifo Home app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Trifo Home might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Trifo Home. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Trifo Home then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Trifo Home not working


2. Fix Trifo Home Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Trifo Home be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Trifo Home not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Trifo Home may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
