Pocket Ledger Customer Insights

1. perfect for keeping an updated record of my transactions (personal and business)! Great app, and very easy to use! However after the trial period was up, I attempted to use it, and it wouldn't let me input anything!! So I attempted to buy one of their plans, but it wouldn't allow me to do it, which rendered the app pretty much useless.Haven't been able to restore data from Google drive and email, been trying with my new phone.

2. Keep things simple.. and more people will find it easy to use... still looking for how to get previous month report of party, which was an easy task on previous versions.The app allows limited free entries and thereafter it has to be upgraded by purchasing a plan.

3. Overall Experience - Great app, poor support and subscription model.App used to be good, but ease of usage has degraded with every upgrade.

4. There is nothing to show you how to use it, it's a pain the way you have to select "party" before you can make an entry, I've put the entries in 5 times now using different ways and no matter what I try, only 2 entries will show up.

5. It's a really good app, but I have to cancel my subscription and find something else.I got this for my 16yr old grandson so he can learn to budget an account with his allowance we give him, so far I'm not impressed.

6. I'm done with this app and am deleting it.Have some backup issue with the last update as I took a backup of all of my records but could recover only half of my parties and it pops the missing error with the receipt despite having them in my internal storage.

7. Though the help option mentions that one can keep using the app with unlimited entries, it has not worked for me.

8. I purchesed a subscription, couldn't get it to work and contacted support.

10. Rest is all good as i am able to manage all my accounts with some easePlease add page top bottom scroll button.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Pocket Ledger Issues

1. Fix Pocket Ledger Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Pocket Ledger: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Pocket Ledger App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pocket Ledger" » Open Pocket Ledger » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pocket Ledger » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Pocket Ledger app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pocket Ledger servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pocket Ledger" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Pocket Ledger app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pocket Ledger might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Pocket Ledger. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pocket Ledger then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pocket Ledger not working


2. Fix Pocket Ledger Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Pocket Ledger be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Pocket Ledger not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Pocket Ledger may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
