1. How is this protecting you or me? Too many issues Why don't you add important information on your app like how to protect your self and others? Places to get tested? Booking to get tested? Emergency button for medical aid? How to self quarantine?There is a problem with importing GPS history data from Google maps when downloading the app for the first time, the app just freezes and doesn't process, other than that, great app.

2. Given the rise in cases they better fix this soon!I'm a new user and I'm really disappointed.. It doesn't work at all , I can't even open it Once I skip reloading the previous locations , the APP will immediately stop for no reason and it will no longer response Whenever I press on the icon of the app , it immediately kicks me out and telling me that there's something wrong went and the app will forcefully get closedGreat app, maybe you can consider supporting Android 4.4; yes...many still carry devices of that version.

3. Another issue, the notification from the app: "يعمل تطبيق امان في الخلفية و يحميك" disappears after few seconds of closing the app, the notification should not disappear at all, just like kaspersky for exampleGreat application, essentially because it protects user privacy by saving the data locally without any intrusion.

4. A genuine thank you goes to all the volunteering team behind it for their great minds and outstanding efforts.Have you even tested it? 1- On wifi the application was not connecting and I had to turn on my data connection to get it to connect.

5. 2- You can import your data only once from Google but if you skipped and then changed your mind you can't! 3- Why can't I see my location history?It's a joke.... this is the 2nd time I post this and it gets removed.

6. Edit: Device: Samsung mate 10 lite OS: Android 10 App: Aman v1.0 579The App gave me a wrong two dates of detecting multiple exposures (Extreme) Actually, I was at that location one day none of the detected.

7. Can this issue be resolved?I am afraid that users can stop this app from working when Android report it as power intensive app, it can be easily stopped then and it starts working again when user open it only.

8. I received one notification suggesting I was at some road on Saturday while I was there on Friday, seems like a bug in the application, the time is correct, just one day off.

9. It does not notify when you're in direct contact with a covid patient , and if it does you can uninstall the app and install it again and all the history is gone.

10. I thought the application would drain my battery, but instead, I found out that it does have a unique feature to help save the battery.

11. As a result we keep getting incorrect overlap points which remain in our history.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AMAN Issues

1. Fix AMAN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AMAN: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AMAN App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AMAN" » Open AMAN - Aman.jo JORDAN APP COVID-19 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AMAN » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AMAN - Aman.jo JORDAN APP COVID-19 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AMAN servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AMAN - Aman.jo JORDAN APP COVID-19" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AMAN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AMAN might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AMAN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AMAN then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AMAN not working


2. Fix AMAN Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AMAN be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AMAN not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AMAN may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
