1. It just doesn't always work.This app is AWFUL! If it worked as advertised it would be amazing but it doesn't at all and it throws off apps on my kids phone that aren't even being monitored.

7. Did three different chat sessions to try to resolve the issues and the only answer I would get is to reboot her phone and wait 30-40 min.

9. Was unable to see new apps uploaded to my daughter's phone, the location never worked, and I checked to see if she could just delete the app and she could.

10. I recently had the opportunity to use the live chat support feature and was pleasantly surprised that an actual human was at the other end with understanding and logical answers.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Parental Control FamilyTime Issues

1. Fix Parental Control FamilyTime Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Parental Control FamilyTime: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Parental Control FamilyTime App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Parental Control FamilyTime" » Open Parental Control FamilyTime » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Parental Control FamilyTime » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Parental Control FamilyTime app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Parental Control FamilyTime servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Parental Control FamilyTime" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Parental Control FamilyTime app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Parental Control FamilyTime might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Parental Control FamilyTime. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Parental Control FamilyTime then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Parental Control FamilyTime not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Parental Control FamilyTime be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
