AwoX Smart CONTROL Customer Insights

1. Because of that, I also tried the new app (HomeControl), which... also doesn't work.It works only half the time, 90% times app doesn't recognise the fixture, be it light or bulb, then it refuse to work with either phone or remote, its so hard to operate either.. when it doesn't connect to its appareil.a lot of bug.

2. The second led strap is blocked now on the green colour without being able to reset it or connect it to the remote.

3. So, it's not great, a little bit annoying but it doesn't have ads and it works, I'll give you that!Easy to start, easy to use, plenty of space for favorite colors.

4. White, color, "smooth" which doesn't have any control over it and voice, which has tremendous lag, because it uses phone's mic and bluetooth.

5. I guess it's hardware limitation in the led bulps to not be able to have more than one controller connected at one time, but that's the first con.

6. Other than that the application is alright!It works but, it doesn't have an app to Galaxy Watch.

7. On the whole I like the technology ... it would be nice to be able to integrate the system into one's home LAN / WLAN to extend the range of the app & controllers .

8. Also it feels that the palette is a bit off compared to reality.The BT connections to the various devices still seem to be a bit 'hit and miss' and having to wait for this to operate the lamps etc.

9. It doesn't integrate with Android system neither Samsung home automation.

10. It worked innitially, but then I couldn't connect them through the remote control.

11. Had to restart the app multiple times before I was able to connect to my device.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AwoX Smart CONTROL Issues

1. Fix AwoX Smart CONTROL Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AwoX Smart CONTROL: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AwoX Smart CONTROL App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AwoX Smart CONTROL" » Open AwoX Smart CONTROL » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AwoX Smart CONTROL » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AwoX Smart CONTROL app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AwoX Smart CONTROL servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AwoX Smart CONTROL" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AwoX Smart CONTROL app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AwoX Smart CONTROL might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AwoX Smart CONTROL. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AwoX Smart CONTROL then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AwoX Smart CONTROL not working


2. Fix AwoX Smart CONTROL Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AwoX Smart CONTROL be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AwoX Smart CONTROL not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AwoX Smart CONTROL may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
