1. Although my department has the actual book, this is much faster, I don't have to worry about looking for the book if it's misplaced, everyone with a phone basically gets their own copy of it, and I don't have to buy a new book when new editions are released, will recommendGreat app.

2. Instead of going back and searching, you can click on it and go.I'm interested in working with HAZMAT, and this app has been very interesting, educational and easy-to-use! I enjoy the many features like the evacuation calculator, and I also like how straight forward the descriptions are.

3. Luckily, I haven't had to use it for anything like that yet but extremely happy to have it for emergencies.We got told to download the app and we had to do an assessment it was missing the first question of the assessment 0241 - explosive Besides that the app is really helpfulVery useful.

4. Overall 10/10I'm a firefighter , is so handy to be on me phone.Works better than the book, quicker to use, easier for new people to understand and the map is awesome to use.

5. So, every four years, you will have to download the new version.While playing with the app, I just discovered that you can plot a spill and see where you should have the containment area blocked off.

6. App works really well, faster then the book, and I like that it saves recent searches for when you need to quickly switch between a few things.

7. I prefer the paper version, but that gets expensive with having to replace them every four years.

8. On the down side I noticed the P for polymerization is missing on some chemicals, IE 119, this is a pretty big issue, and one I hope the developers look into quickly.This app use to be great.

9. I would love to use this again for emergency responses.Has the ERG as needed for my duties for packaging, handling, and transporting of DG.

10. But this bug will not go away cannot look up placards or railway car by types or over the road because the black dot pushes everything off the page.

1. Fix ERG Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ERG: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ERG App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ERG" » Open ERG for Android » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ERG » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ERG for Android app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ERG servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ERG for Android" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ERG app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ERG might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ERG. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ERG then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ERG not working

2. Fix ERG Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ERG be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ERG not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ERG may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
