1. Anchor watch is a position logger, Email/IM alarm and sound alarm and it monitors the device's current location and informs you if the location of the device changes too far away from the set anchor.
2. It should not be relied on to and we shall not be responsible for any problem/expense/life threatening situation it could cause. ♦ If the Anchor Pro keeps loosing GPS signal when screen is turned off, try disabling battery optimizations of the specific phone.
3. Please know that the performance and accuracy of the Anchor watch application depend on the hardware and software of the used device.
4. We suggest you charge your device while using the app, although it's not necessary and the impact on battery life strongly depends on the specific device!
5. Some device types have problems with some parts of the application, such as not providing proper GPS provider.
6. If that doesn't help, try enabling the option in application settings to keep screen on.
7. If GPS doesn't work, please bear in mind that it might be a hardware issue, as some devices have trouble getting a good GPS fix!
8. If you have bad reception, please move the device to a location that has better satellite reception!
9. Because this application uses GPS to monitor movement, it will consume battery a bit faster than normal.
10. This application can be used on boats, sailboats, motorboats and any other objects that move freely.

1. Thanks nice app but i cant make it work on any of my samsung devices, even after ticking the "keep screen on" box the screen switches off after a few hours (whilst on charge) and the alarm stops working, when i wake the device up the alarm goes off.
2. There are a few annoyances but I have found this app to be reliable, especially with a backup device running, too.Update to last - thanks for your advice by email, it seems a bit of a work around but the app all seems to be working now, thanks for your help i will give the Lite version a try for a while then upgrade if i get on well with it.
3. It's great piece of mind at night, you don't need cell service once downloaded, just the phones gps.Originally I loved the app, easy to understand and use in every way, but the alarm kept going off all night.
4. At the least there could be a different alarm for this event rather than the siren that goes off! Currently it's a bit like the app that cried wolf!I use the paid version of this app every day.on my UMIDIGI phone and my Samsung tablet.
5. Just remember to set the distance sufficiently large to take account of the expected swing due to tides! the first time I used it, set at 10m, I was woken up every few hours. It is impossible to give this app the location permission "Allow all the time" on Android 12.
6. Obviously it needs the GPS for it to function but perhaps there could be a delay whilst the app tries to require the signal before setting off the alarm - it could even be user defined.
7. I widened the parameters significantly including delaying the alarm in case I lost the GPS signal and it continued to alarm seemingly for no reason.
8. "Always allow" permission for location has gone, and I no longer get "gps lost" alarm.
9. The app has its learning curve and some of the settings are not well documented so don't expect to go out and anchor and sleep well until you have verified that you set it up right and have had it running a few hours with the phone sitting untouched.
10. It needs to be implemented by the developer to even have the option to grant this permission on Android 12, and it seems this App is no longer getting updates so this is still not possible.
11. The only downside is that the alarm goes off when the GPS signal is lost.
