1. A photo from the front camera when the attempt was made, map showing the location of the device at the time the screen lock was incorrectly input and a link to continue tracking.I just tested it and it works! It said you have to wait 10 seconds after entering the wrong password the set number of times or it won't send the email.

11. You must shut the phone off completely and power it on for the program to work...when you do, it works perfectly.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Lockwatch Issues

1. Fix Lockwatch Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Lockwatch: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Lockwatch App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lockwatch" » Open Lockwatch - Thief Catcher » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lockwatch » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Lockwatch - Thief Catcher app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lockwatch servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lockwatch - Thief Catcher" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Lockwatch app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lockwatch might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Lockwatch. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lockwatch then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lockwatch not working


2. Fix Lockwatch Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lockwatch be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lockwatch not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lockwatch may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Respected Sir/Madam, On the night of 10th Septemper/2022 someone stole my mobile from my room. The model of my handset is Redmi Note 10 pro max and IMEI numbers are IMEI1- 864017051286598 and IMEI2- 864017051286606. The App Lockwatch was installed in my handset with the email id khilzi51@redacted but I did not receive any mail from your end after the thief had stolen the mobile. Two numbers were there in my handset- 9954294191 and 6001611428. Till now from lockwatch no msg or mail has been received so far regarding the location and photo of the thief. I signed up for premium service but lockwatch does not work with fingerprint. Seems to only work with swipe which I don't not use.
