1. Wish I could move the folders after they have been created but only a slight flaw, still love the app.Your app is amazing 😭🙌🏻 it's everything I'd been looking for; I just didn't realize it because I'd given up hope that an app existed with the amount of customization I wanted.

2. Utifil is awesome!I attempted to use this app to sort through my photos, but it took them from my main photo storage, making them unacceable in other apps, and when I deleted the app, ALL OF MY PICTURES WENT WITH IT.

4. It is AMAZING!! It literally changed my life with photos! Now when I want to show others specific pictures, no more endless time-consuming searching☺️ I know everything that I always search, but not where they are.

5. Even the ability to alphabetize them would be an improvement.This is the only good app I've found that allows me to move (not just copy) image files into custom folders in my Android's storage.

6. Rather, this app MOVES your photos into whichever folder you specify, and due to the way Android phones work, your default Gallery app may no longer "see" them.

7. Features that would be nice: - Reverse-order searching - Being able to set images as folder icons - Auto replay for videosI really like this app.

8. My other gallery apps also don't show the images stored in the Utiful gallery, the images are stored completely separate.

9. The only thing it is lacking and something I'm hoping very much will be featured in a future update - is a dark mode & customization options like colors on more then just folders.

10. I'd already been doing a similar thing with Google photos, but it's not ideal (using the albums).

11. Organising folders is easy and I can also share images and add little comments to each one.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Utiful Photo Organizer Issues

1. Fix Utiful Photo Organizer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Utiful Photo Organizer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Utiful Photo Organizer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Utiful Photo Organizer" » Open Utiful Photo Organizer » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Utiful Photo Organizer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Utiful Photo Organizer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Utiful Photo Organizer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Utiful Photo Organizer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Utiful Photo Organizer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Utiful Photo Organizer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Utiful Photo Organizer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Utiful Photo Organizer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Utiful Photo Organizer not working


2. Fix Utiful Photo Organizer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Utiful Photo Organizer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Utiful Photo Organizer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Utiful Photo Organizer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • When I transfer photos from my iPad photos to Utifil, most show the date at the top when viewing in Utifil. However, a few do not show the date even though the date shows when viewing on the iPad photos app. Why is this happening? Can I fix it?

  • Hi I currently subscribe to utiful. The app wasn’t showing on my device so I had to download it again. Once downloaded all my stored photos had disappeared even though I pay £19.99 a month subscription. Please advise how I can retrieve my photos back - thank you?

  • I've been using this app and I love it. Recently my album gallery ohotos show broken, but when I click on them, they are there. I did all the suggestions and they still appear broken so I cannot see them at quick glance which makes using this app very difficult and defeats the purpose of it honestly. Hopefully you can help. I have a galaxy s22 ultra with android operating system. Thank you

  • I am purchases a new iPad, and want to understand how to move the application to the new iPad ... I understand I can move the "photos" to iCloud, but will it move the app as well? Thanks In Advance ... :-)

  • Does Utiful store the pictures and videos that I have on it even if it does not have access to iCloud? I am using it to back up photos. I would like to know that my photos are still there even if they are not on my phone or iCloud

  • hey i need some help. my phone has had a really difficult time with storage issues so i thought that your app would be a great way to organise all my photos and get them all on my sd card. all was going great i love the app but i ran into a bug. when i switched from internal to external device storage all my photos disapeared, i looked around and found out they were all still in the files on my sd card and when i went on the app i realised there still there i jyst cant see them. (if you click on the empty spaces it opens the photo that was supposed to be there) anyway now i cant see any of my photos without clicking on them and scrolling through individually. please help. thanks

  • All my pictures are gone!!! It won’t let me sync to my new phone … I’m beyond upset all my kids baby pictures… I was so nervous when I was using this app already moving them into the files they would delete from my phone …. I had a feeling this was a bad idea …. Please let me know if there is ANYWAY I can get my pictures back , I take a lot of pictures for memories. So my husband & I can look back reminiscing & show my children beautiful memories when they are older … I’m so heartbroken about this.
