1. Anyways VERRRRRRRRY frustrating and the so called tech support is about non existent or i havent found it yet grrrrrrApp doesn't work anymore, unable to control lights with Alexa or my phone, so I'm stuck with a bunch of dead smart plugs.

2. I bought 4 plugs in 2018 and one disconnected from the WiFi 6 months ago, but since the app hasn't been updated since 2017 and is on a crash loop I can't setup the plug again.

3. I have 3 plugs that I would like to make sure are able to be used still.Started off great, 6 months later the application failed to open.

4. It doesn't seem like it would be worth it to buy them all you can really seem to do is turn the plugs on & off from your phone.

5. Do yourself a favor & buy smart plugs that have apps from trusted suppliers don't just buy them because they are cheap.Run!!! Return your plugs ASAP.

6. I only got this app for plugs that an in-law gave me because they couldn't get some to work in their house.

7. We need a refund on all of the plugs!!!Use to set up any device but after a router crashed and had to purchase a new one, the set up is worse.

8. Since then its junk.this was working well for me until I recently updated my Android software on my phone.

9. I use this for three plugs for lighting.Any instructions are not complete- just leave you hanging.

10. when I click to open, it mmediately closes.This app no longer opens on my Galaxy Note 9.

11. The others are still working with Alexa, for the time being.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LITEdge Issues

1. Fix LITEdge Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LITEdge: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LITEdge App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LITEdge" » Open LITEdge - Smart life , smart living » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LITEdge » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LITEdge - Smart life , smart living app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LITEdge servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LITEdge - Smart life , smart living" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LITEdge app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LITEdge might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LITEdge. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LITEdge then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LITEdge not working


2. Fix LITEdge Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LITEdge be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LITEdge not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LITEdge may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
