Smart Cleaner Customer Insights

1. Not being bombarded with ads Everytime I use Smart Cleaner , is nice also.So far to the length of my limited knowledge this is the best FREE cleaner application I've used.its as if I've gotten a new phone as far as speed and performance.and the ads are there but not nearly as offenseively intrusive as other less performing similar apps I've been forced to endure in the past.

2. It constantly says that I should "clean" my phone (delete useless things) and these files are large, but they take less than a second to delete.

3. 4 stars bc of the ads and bc I'm not entirely sure if the app actually "cleans" up my phone and makes it faster... Will update in a couple days, maybe hours, depending on progress.This app is fake.

4. This is a new phone so there should not have been so many files, etc that needed cleaning.

5. Puts more junk on your phone than it cleans And the ads don't have the exit X .

6. Application found files that I didn't even know I had (impressive, considering I've downloaded several app manager applications and archive viewer applications).

7. I scanned my phone at 7:00 and an hour later my phone I suggesting I need to do it again.

8. This phone is a pile of junk.Can't get past the ads.

9. As with most maintenance apps on this device they run to many times and other programs always want to install and there is no time to do the things I want to do.

10. This happened even after my phone had been cleaned.

11. When they said they were removing junk which includes all of the cash and excetera from the system they weren't telling the truth.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Smart Cleaner Issues

1. Fix Smart Cleaner Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Smart Cleaner: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Smart Cleaner App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smart Cleaner" » Open Smart Cleaner » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smart Cleaner » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Smart Cleaner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smart Cleaner servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart Cleaner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Smart Cleaner app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart Cleaner might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Cleaner. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart Cleaner then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Smart Cleaner not working


2. Fix Smart Cleaner Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Smart Cleaner be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Smart Cleaner not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Smart Cleaner may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
