Blind Customer Insights

1. Been a user for quite some time, bug probably introduced in 3.9.1When I started using Blind initially, it seemed very suffocating, filled with people having inflated egos and living the rat race.

2. Really helpful to know about important and critical stuffs that no one wants to/can talk about in public.App was working fine and suddenly it says that it is detecting root.

3. When you click on a link to an external page, it posts the message 'Unable to access blind network at the moment'.

4. ThanksLIAPP Alert telling me my device is rooted and thus not being able to use the app.

5. This app decides to stop rooted users from using it for some idiotic reason.

6. I guess the solution is to root the device and then hide the root from this app.

7. The thing is my device is not rooted and has never been.

8. Otherwise, 90% chance it's gonna crash in a few seconds.Root detection is broken.

9. Except they can't detect root correctly so the app auto closes even on unrooted devices.

10. Ciao!The app was working quite well in the last few months, however now it crashes during the startup and I am unable to login.Terrible app.

11. Some complained about failed to lookup host etc when opening with Chrome browser works just fine.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Blind Issues

1. Fix Blind Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Blind: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Blind App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Blind" » Open Blind - Professional Community » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Blind » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Blind - Professional Community app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Blind servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Blind - Professional Community" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Blind app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Blind might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Blind. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Blind then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Blind not working


2. Fix Blind Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Blind be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Blind not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Blind may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
