1. Also when searching for an item it would be nice if I didn't have to click into the text box in order to add search parameters, then after I click "search" the keyboard should disappear on its own.Good seller, smooth transaction.

2. Right now, it just takes you to the listing.I'm not usually one to rate apps, but I've been buying used devices from Swappa since they first started, and I'm always shocked more people don't know about it.

3. The prices are amazing, the protections for both buyers and sellers are particularly well thought out and effective, and I've never had anything other than a perfect experience purchasing devices through them.

4. Often I can't even click the icon to launch and most of the time when it does launch, it just shows a blank white screen with a green header.

5. The pencil doesn't seem to work, or maybe just won't charge when stuck to the top edge? Maybe I am doing something wrong, this is my first iPad Pro.

6. The app doesn't have editing tools for listings, mistakes are common, but once you made them, there's no way to fix things in an intuitive way, The posts are revised before publication.

7. Then you receive an email with the actual rules, pointing your mistakes and LINKS to webpages for you to fix them and once there the edit option does not edit everything.

8. I realize the intention was good, but the execution has made the user experience terrible.The app used to be awesome.

9. I searched Pixel 2 XL expecting to see 2 devices come back to choose from Unlocked and Verizon, but they're all mixed together.

10. The smart folio keyboard & power brick appears to work well.I find the app harder to navigate when you are the seller.

11. The listings for devices are either incomplete, mis-categorized, or inaccurate.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Swappa Issues

1. Fix Swappa Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Swappa: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Swappa App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Swappa" » Open Swappa - Buy & Sell Used Tech » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Swappa » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Swappa - Buy & Sell Used Tech app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Swappa servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Swappa - Buy & Sell Used Tech" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Swappa app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Swappa might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Swappa. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Swappa then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Swappa not working


2. Fix Swappa Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Swappa be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Swappa not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Swappa may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
