1. I got a new phone...the app didn't remember me...I started a dialog with customer support which cannot find an account - even after I sent screen shots of payment through Google Play store.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GetHabit Issues

1. Fix GetHabit Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GetHabit: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GetHabit App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GetHabit" » Open GetHabit: Motivation & Planner » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GetHabit » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GetHabit: Motivation & Planner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GetHabit servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GetHabit: Motivation & Planner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GetHabit app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GetHabit might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GetHabit. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GetHabit then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GetHabit not working


2. Fix GetHabit Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GetHabit be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GetHabit not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GetHabit may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I saw an advertisement on Instagram and completed the questionnaire. Then, I went to my email to get my plan. I was sent to a website, that led me to an endless circle of prompts to enter my credit card information. I repeatedly either received a message that there were insufficient funds (there isn't) or was sent to a blank white page. Once, I managed to get so far as to be prompted for a code, which was sent to my phone. I entered the code, but received an error message and was prompted to try again. When I attempted to try again, I was sent back to the prompts to enter my credit card information, once again. At this point, I don't know if no payment was made, if one payment was made, or if several payments were made. Nor do I know how to verify any payments, because I have not received any receipts for payment or email or text confirmation that payments were made. I have spent over an hour, simply trying to get access to my plan. At this point, the technical difficulties on your end have me seriously concerned as to whether or not I will be overcharged, and I still do not have access to my plan. Please advise me on how I can get a refund on any purchases made, because I am at the point, where I am too frustrated to even care about my plan or the app. I will try to find a way to work on my needs, elsewhere. I have had two payments taken from my bank account, I have not taken out a subscription with yourselves. I have checked my android phone and my iPad. I purchased lifetime access for Habitbox for 19.99 via the website. But on my iPad it's on trial. It sent me an email verification but when you click the link, it will just asked you to subscribe in a plan again. This is ridiculous. And there's not even a receipt for the transaction.
