1. I see that they are trying to move on from personal inventory to being a business platform, but it sucks that they are ignoring the needs of their original consumers by getting rid of the home option.I got the free version to try initially & loved it...easy to use, nice look, & allowed me to organize things well.

2. Not yearly/monthly, though.i am a collector and wanted to be able to sort my collection, however I have more than 100 items, and the upgrade price is HUGE! $40-$100 a MONTH! It sucks because the platform and app was perfect for what I needed it for, and now I can't use it and I wasted all that time entering for nothing.

3. The rest of the app seems to function as expected, but I'll be deleting it and sticking to the desktop version until that issue can be addressed.I'm sorry, but paying $5 a month just to have an inventory of items I own is freaking ridiculous.

4. Without photos I have no use for this app.Meh. Sortly Plus is better than most (and there aint too many options out there that actually works or is easy to work with or has flexibility in recording/sorting any information desired (Sortly fails on this point)).

5. It works well for free, but I have more than 100 items to sort in my life and the fact o have to manually input each one because the scanner is only available for the paid version makes me never want to use it.

6. Couldn't be happier.When accessing an already established database with thousands of pictures it wants to download and sync those thousands of photos, rather than downloading them as I try to access that item.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Sortly Issues

1. Fix Sortly Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Sortly: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Sortly App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sortly" » Open Sortly: Inventory Simplified » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sortly » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Sortly: Inventory Simplified app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sortly servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sortly: Inventory Simplified" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Sortly app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sortly might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Sortly. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sortly then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sortly not working


2. Fix Sortly Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sortly be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sortly not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sortly may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
