Why should I report an Issue with Countdown Time - Event Widget?

1. I bought the paid version in part because I appreciate that the app is still totally great to use even without paying, so it's something I want to support.Update (2/23/22) Crashes are fixed and the app works.

2. And I went to try to change my countdown and it gave me an add that wouldn't load anytime I clicked anything! Want to go to settings? Ad.

3. Uninstalling and finding something else.I love the widgets, enabling me to make my own personal countdown calander! And the fact I can upload my own pictures for these events? Awesome.

4. But the big thing is when you set a timer and say choose days not months it just decides eventually to change to months at will on its own and then won't let you change.

5. It's really encouraging to change the count to something that works for you (total days, partial days, etc).

6. I have uninstalled and will find a different app for this purpose.The app sort of works but there are way too many annoying ads and no way to share the image on Facebook without a big link to the app appearing on the image.

7. So for example, if there is over half a day left until the event, the countdown will say zero days left.

8. I'm using it for a retirement countdown 4 years away and I can show this many different ways.

9. That information would be helpful in choosing a background for a trip.Downloaded it initially because it doesn't send your information to third parties, but that's not good enough for me to keep it.

10. What would push it to 5 stars for me would be the ability to link events on my Google calendar in rather than having to recreate the event in this app.

1. Fix Countdown Time Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Countdown Time: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Countdown Time App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Countdown Time" » Open Countdown Time - Event Widget » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Countdown Time » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Countdown Time - Event Widget app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Countdown Time servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Countdown Time - Event Widget" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Countdown Time app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Countdown Time might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Countdown Time. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Countdown Time then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Countdown Time not working

2. Fix Countdown Time Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Countdown Time be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Countdown Time not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Countdown Time may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
