Why should I report an Issue with HAVEN - Preventative Security?

1. The HAVEN app uses BlueTooth in your smart phone to lock and unlock HAVEN Connect.

2. The HAVEN app is used to control HAVEN Connect, a preventative smart lock for doors.

1. has no problems .this product is a great idea I watched it for years and love it as backup protection!!seeing that people usually kick in your front door in 10sec it's protection when your out of your home!!and in! Ps just got the fobs now I love this product great when you're home and!It seems the app works better if you use an IPhone IOS.

2. Erroneously displays as "Locked" right after unlocking due to hardware flaw on my unit (need to step on Haven to change to "Unlocked").

3. Very helpful and easy to use wherever you are in your home sitting relaxing enjoying your family or visitor company, it will answers to lock up or open your door house entrance.

4. Think twice before buying, knowing that this does not work as advertised, there are better options.Product good, app sucks (literally, bye battery).

10. 3 stars because of that-- there is also the possibility of someone hacking the smartphone through bluebugging to gain access to haven app and 🔑 🔓 unlocking it.

1. Fix HAVEN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart HAVEN: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the HAVEN App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HAVEN" » Open HAVEN - Preventative Security » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HAVEN » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear HAVEN - Preventative Security app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HAVEN servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HAVEN - Preventative Security" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check HAVEN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HAVEN might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall HAVEN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HAVEN then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HAVEN not working

2. Fix HAVEN Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HAVEN be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HAVEN not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HAVEN may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
