1. If I could give negative stars, I would.Worked great until the 14-day free trial vs paid pro version.

2. This transition was handled poorly and unprofessionally and ruined the app.When I first started using this app for notes, it didn't have the short trial and then mandatory upgrade to Pro.

3. But when the developer decided to stop the free version I had to accept the trial just to access my own data at all.

4. I had it for over a year and used it for important notes, only to have it suddenly tell me my "free trial" was up,and I had to download and pay for the actual app.

5. Go pound sand.This may not sound like a glowing report, but I stumbled upon Simple Notes basically at random, and decided to 'splurge' (it's quite reasonable)on the Pro version.

6. When I download one paid for it's 50/50 I download the free version by mistake.

7. You lose all your notes unless you pay, and although it tells you you can download them into Google docs, it just compiles all your notes into a jumbled mess that's difficult to get to in the first place.

8. Recently they changed their free apps to paid and forced all into a 14 day trial.

9. I know I should have put stuff in a more secure place, and it gives the option to export notes, but they come out as a jumbled, unreadable mess and now all of my notes are gone.

10. Thrown out on the latest update/trial imposition! The app was free, always would be, if I remember correctly? Simple thank-you app allowed support for the developer... I purchased it.

11. Instead of alienating your users with this hard cut off, you should've added a pop up ad for the full version.Do not fall for this "free" app.

1. Fix Simple Notes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Simple Notes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Simple Notes App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Simple Notes" » Open Simple Notes » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Simple Notes » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Simple Notes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Simple Notes servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Simple Notes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Simple Notes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Simple Notes might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Simple Notes. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Simple Notes then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Simple Notes not working

2. Fix Simple Notes Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Simple Notes be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Simple Notes not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Simple Notes may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
