3. Bait-and-switch RANSOMWARE!The main reason I downloaded this is because in the screenshot it shows the bar on the side where you can quickly jump to a letter in your contacts list.

8. It WAS free, I've had it for a year with no problems, but they recently changed their terms, including for all current users who already have all their contact info stored and rely on it, they literally hold your data for ransome.

1. Fix Simple Contacts Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Simple Contacts: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Simple Contacts App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Simple Contacts" » Open Simple Contacts » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Simple Contacts » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Simple Contacts app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Simple Contacts servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Simple Contacts" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Simple Contacts app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Simple Contacts might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Simple Contacts. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Simple Contacts then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Simple Contacts not working

2. Fix Simple Contacts Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Simple Contacts be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Simple Contacts not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Simple Contacts may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
