1. Not confident in the security of my personal info so had no choice but to request account deletionNo idea what's happened, app is now basically unusable, I cannot post any items as I keep getting an error message, cannot edit or remove my current items as I get same error message.
2. I have literally just downloaded the app and posted 2 items, and it's taken 1 minute for a scammer to ask for my email and saying they have purchased the items and send them out them despite no confirmation from shpock I'm not wet behind the ears so know a scam when I see one but for some people new to online selling you need to be Very wary.
3. It's a shame because I do prefer the concept over other apps but the execution is apparently so bad that people aren't even able to use the platform anymore. The new cookie and ad consent options are terrible.... There is no option to object to all ad vendors.
4. Total fall from grace.Decent layout of the app, it's a bit laggy, and OMG !! The amount of scammers looking for email details cause they seemingly can't purchase the item instantly.
5. was going to post a classified ad, had detauled pictures (which is somewhat important when you want to sell an item and be fair to the buyer) and it popped up with photo credits.
6. Uninstalling, I'll stick to Facebook marketplace!Would be better if you could link to the original product page when selling so you don't need to write out a long description.
7. When it was new, I had success selling used items with Shpock and liked the features so I tired again.
8. I have no problems with ads, I don't like focused ads but I do seriously object to legitimate interest and having to select an ad free every single time is irritating.
9. You need to have a bot that scans messages for the following message....I tried to buy your (item) can you please supply your email address.
10. Photo credits? The app already monetizes using ad-impressions, but I'm supposed to pay, so more users are driven to engage them? Sorry, not going to be the content that gets directly and indirectly monetized.
11. Next thing, Im getting demands for payment and counter offers on items I'd never dream of buying.
