Seer Customer Insights

1. Warning: Flickering in app! I hate to give a low rating for what looks like a potentially good app but there is high contrast flickering when scrolling through the home screen which isn't great for someone trying to track photosensitivity based seizures... Check-ins were also unavailable, which is unfortunate.

2. I would like to see more checkfields to fill out in regards to seizure events, and ways to keep track of those specific checkfields (type of seizure, possible stressors,...) just for better analysis of that data.

3. Would be good to have an embedded menstruation cycle in the daily calendar.1. Seer won't allow accurate dose of meds.

4. It does look nice and has good intentions but... I can't use it safely or make entries.I think it's a great app with room for improvement.

5. I am building up a schedule week by week, and mistakes are hard to remove.The app is really good.

6. Can't enter a decimal, i.e.12.5mg dose, converted to μg but field restricted to 4 digits & can't enter dose of 12500 μg.

7. If I accidentally log adherence to my night meds instead of my morning meds, I can't edit & undo log.

8. I notice the medication schedule is buggy and it has caused me some stress.

9. It is very accessible and a very quality app for not being a money-grab at all.

10. Can't fix history when accidentally delete log.Alright so far.

11. Needs to be able to log an aura only.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Seer Issues

1. Fix Seer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Seer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Seer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Seer" » Open Seer – Epilepsy Management » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Seer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Seer – Epilepsy Management app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Seer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Seer – Epilepsy Management" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Seer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Seer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Seer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Seer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Seer not working


2. Fix Seer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Seer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Seer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Seer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
