Why should I report an Issue with Rev: Record & Transcribe?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Rev.com, Inc to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Often we don't want to transcribe the entire thing so we need to be able to edit it in an easy edit program 1st and then bring it back.This app will not let you add to a recording, so if you're using it (like I do) to record inspired ideas that arise at any time, you're forced to save dozens of single ideas or risk losing your file as there is no confirmation on pre-saved files.

2. Being able to get stuff transcribed is AWESOME, but it's useful just for getting audio recordings if that's all you need.I have several recordings I made only to find that all the sharing functions were faulty and there is literally no way at all to get the recordings off the phone digitally.

3. If you want to avoid accidental erasures and also avoid having to send dozens of short recordings off to be transcribed, you have to type them out yourself yo get them into a single file.

4. Please bring them back! Their absense makes playing back recordings really irritating, especially when I just want to listen to a specific later section of a long recording.Great app.

5. My goal is to listen to audio lectures while driving, so I can't be constantly messing with my phone to play the next recording.1. It is extremely difficult to find a place or a quote from a file.

6. Having to go elsewhere.The app doesn't seem to allow you to sort your recordings or automatically play the next recording in a series.

7. (like a YT video) I was able to use the share function to chose how to send the recording off-app.

8. The backup to Dropbox option is not working so I guess I'll have waste a few days of my life and record each individual file to my voice recorder.

9. It doesn't seem To allow you to save the audio files so you can edit it in an audio editor.

10. Only way to get the recordings is to share via Bluetooth and that when I try to do so I keep getting sending failed.

11. Why did you remove features?! The Search bar and the ability to easily skip to any point while playing back a recording were my two favorite features.

1. Fix Rev Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Rev: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Rev App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Rev" » Open Rev: Record & Transcribe » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Rev » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Rev: Record & Transcribe app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Rev servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Rev: Record & Transcribe" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Rev app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Rev might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Rev. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Rev then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Rev not working

2. Fix Rev Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Rev be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Rev not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Rev may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
