Steve.there are a bit of issues with it, such as sometimes when i try to record my voice, it stops working - when i stop it, it shows 0 seconds - upon trying to play it, it doesnt play any sounds or starts otherwise, the app seems pretty fineSeems to be working fine, but the volume is low when playing back recordings, and needs to tweeked a little and turned up.An exceptionally good app.The sound quality is unique.

2. What a great app! So simple to use.... Instantly there for me to dictate my memory message or any other note I need.... Saves typing something elsewhere... So quick and easy to use... A real time saver.

3. Control buttons for recording and play pause could be bigger for dictating notes.The record button sometimes freezes so that recordings are not made and dictations therefore are incomplete.

4. Just after two days of purchase it stopped working.I emailed the developers but no reply.Thanks they have fixed.If the format change option is there,it would be great.Solid app, used it for notes.

1. Fix Dictaphone Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Dictaphone: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Dictaphone App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dictaphone" » Open Dictaphone - Audio Recorder » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dictaphone » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Dictaphone - Audio Recorder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dictaphone servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dictaphone - Audio Recorder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Dictaphone app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dictaphone might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Dictaphone. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dictaphone then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dictaphone not working

2. Fix Dictaphone Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dictaphone be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dictaphone not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dictaphone may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
