1. I used to be able to delete my secondary account and remake it for the 300 free minutes after I had reached the maximum on my paid account (which used to be just enough to last me about 21 days or so) but now...when I do that after 3 times it just gets stuck on loading the creation loading screen =/Normally I would've probably said 5 stars, like wow it has helped me A LOT in school, but lately it's been having this weird glitch that it says the recording gas paused bc on an "incoming call", but I won't be receiving any single calls!! It just stops recording without a warning, and if you're not checking your recording ever few minutes, you'll find out after that it MAYBE got half of your meeting or session, on best cases.
2. I ran out of recording time before the end of the class and wasn't aware.I am using the free version and so far it has surpassed my expectations, it is relatively easy to use, intuitive and it's integration with meeting apps has been excellent.
3. Another thing is that it doesn't register to the phone as listening the way that other apps do, allowing you to pause outside the app, or auto pausing when output device is disconnected. The app is a great transcription service, I am deaf and has helped me with my job (retail).
4. It's only shortcoming so far has been the inability to use it for phone calls (on the phone it is installed on), but I beleive that maybe something beyond the developers control (e.g. legal / google policy issues). As I aged, this writer's notes devolved into gibberish.
5. The audio recording quality is good, and you can correct the notes if the app doesn't quite get them correct.
6. If only the accurate audio recording and transcription could be merged with more personal and wellness based features.Used it for a senior center lecture.
7. It's not a five-star becausr for every minute that I spend dictating I usually have to spend 2 minutes editing to make the text readable. It's an alright dictation app.
8. Sometimes mixed words from different speakers into text so a bit confusing, but along with my written notes pretty good.
9. Recording interviews added immensely to the workload, scrolling back and forth on the timeline to fish out a quote.
10. I've been using this app for note taking in college classes and it's extremely helpful.
11. Then I thought 🤔 I need an app that captures spoken word as text.
