1. They obviously don't understand that irrespective of what employers want, work is NOT anyone's first priority and must structure itself around employees availability and not require employees to be available on any given day based on what the employer wants.Can't request time off, and my schedule shows sun-sat when all my co-workers show thurs-wed.

2. The text messages and emails are sufficient if you don't need to request time off, trade shifts, or check who else is working; otherwise, you're in for a very bad time.Without a doubt the worst scheduling app I have ever used.

3. Why would it even need Manager approval if nobody has picked it up yet? Also, there's no communication board for employees to send each other messages about the schedule.

4. Why have an app when it doesn't work??Restaurant 365 seems to think it's OK to allow employers to blackout dates for requesting time off.

5. All pages take an eternity to load, the app force stops almost daily, the login doesn't work 1 times out of 4, and password must be reset.

6. The app also crashes all the time.The restaurant I've worked at for the last 5 years switched to R365 about 6 months ago, never had any problems with Hotschedules which we used the entire time before that.

7. Takes another minute to load the schedule and sometimes it just won't show me my schedule at all even though I know I have shifts coming up.

8. Every time I try, I have to sign in, then am prompted to download the update and redirected to the play store.

9. UPDATE now I can't even put a shift up for grabs and im sick as hell right now! It just glitches out and sends me back to the main screen.

10. There is no way to tell who picked up a shift first, making it impossible to fairly approve shift trades.

11. Every second time you access it, it loads nothing, forcing you to close and open it again.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Restaurant365 Issues

1. Fix Restaurant365 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Restaurant365: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Restaurant365 App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Restaurant365" » Open Restaurant365 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Restaurant365 » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Restaurant365 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Restaurant365 servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Restaurant365" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Restaurant365 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Restaurant365 might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Restaurant365. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Restaurant365 then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Restaurant365 not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Restaurant365 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Restaurant365 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Restaurant365 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
