1. The access to personal information it was uncalled for!!! RATE: 0 stars Side Note: You're better off calling to get the updated balance.While it's great that you can check your EBT balance at a glance, the new debit feature is a shameless ploy at pawning off their own cards.

6. Honestly every once in a while the app will glitch and won't show the balance and the app will tell you it's having trouble connecting to your states portal.

7. It lists up to date balance information for your EBT card(s), with details of transaction/payment history, ect.

8. It's a simple layout, and I find it much more convenient than calling for my balance.

9. I was looking forward to being able to check that balance via this app.

10. It showed updates as far as pandemic and changes made to our balance, job listings.

11. The only issue is that about 90% of the time, it cannot connect to my EBT card to find the recent transactions.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Propel EBT (Providers) Issues

1. Fix Propel EBT (Providers) Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Propel EBT (Providers): Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Propel EBT (Providers) App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Propel EBT (Providers)" » Open Propel EBT (Providers) » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Propel EBT (Providers) » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Propel EBT (Providers) app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Propel EBT (Providers) servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Propel EBT (Providers)" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Propel EBT (Providers) app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Propel EBT (Providers) might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Propel EBT (Providers). If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Propel EBT (Providers) then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Propel EBT (Providers) not working


2. Fix Propel EBT (Providers) Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Propel EBT (Providers) be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Propel EBT (Providers) not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Propel EBT (Providers) may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I just got a new phone and I had to re-download my app for the fresh EBT. I tried to reset my fresh EBT account and it keeps saying that my security question answer is wrong.
