Panasonic LUMIX Sync Customer Insights

1. Bluetooth can connect to allow remote shutter operation but WiFi always fails or goes in to some bizarre loop of struggling to connect and trying to force the camera to "start" an already started WiFi connection.Disastrous. Tried to connect my TZ70.

2. If you're having trouble, reinstall the app and follow the prompts exactly! It's still a basic app that needs a lot of work but it works!Downloaded this app to use with my camera that cost me multiple thousands of dollars only to find that the app crashes instantly any time I try to open it! Trying several older versions download from shady apk sites, I found that the older versions all were either incapable of connecting to the camera or would freeze intermittently to the point of making the app unusable.

3. Add to that the fact that the app requires location access for no reason at all and you've got a garbage piece of software! When we bought the camera, one of the major points was being able to edit videos and publish via the software and a remote connection to the camera from a phone or tablet.

4. Useless app and camera connection.Update: I had a lot of trouble getting this app to connect with my camera and transfer files.

5. The wifi connection takes a long time to connect (at least 1 minute each time).

6. Either way, wifi or not it doesn't work as it use to.Update: the app connects faster than before, but it has to switch between Bluetooth and wifi to download pictures.

7. When I select WiFi Direct it asks me to setup Blutooth on my camera.

8. The problem gets fixed when I disconnect and reconnect my camera with default settings, having to pair it up every time.

9. What you need to know: The app uses Bluetooth and wifi for different functions.

10. Both camera and app just get stuck forever, trying to connect.

11. It will then kick you off wifi until you use "remote shooting" or "import images" at which time it will make you reconnect to wifi.
