Nissan Customer Insights

1. Why not have more music apps? Furthermore, I can play music on my phone and just connect via bluetooth to play it, so what's the point, really?while the app is useful to link to my frontier's factory system, it is pretty useless.

2. Had to download drive app to force it to connect but even with that still have to use my phone for controls since it's not 100% connected to my vehicle.Complete garbage, refuses to connect, doesn't support the latest Android versions, poor app selection, constantly draining battery.

3. Why do it need this? For Facebook? Who does that while driving? For Google maps and trip advisor? I can hear the map through audio from my phone via Bluetooth.

4. iheart radio, and pandora work well just using the bluetooth function of my phone, without the need for this nissan app.

5. This app seriously needs some bug fixes!Uninstall this app! What a nightmare... interrupted both the navigation system and my phone.

6. I had to pull over and try to fix it after driving around in circles because my phone AND the navigation systems were competing with different information.

7. Phone connects via bluetooth and you can stream music from any app on your phone.

8. I'll continue to use my phone for navigation.Useless. It does nothing.

9. I can stream audio from my phone via Bluetooth without this.

10. Get error messages saying update the app, (when there are no updates) or restart my phone.

11. I'd say blow their customer support up too, but they really don't care...Why is social media on this? Who needs that while driving? I actually use Google Maps, and that's a useful app for a car to have.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Nissan Issues

1. Fix Nissan Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Nissan: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Nissan App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Nissan" » Open Nissan Mobile Partner » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Nissan » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Nissan Mobile Partner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Nissan servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Nissan Mobile Partner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Nissan app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Nissan might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Nissan. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Nissan then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Nissan not working


2. Fix Nissan Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Nissan be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Nissan not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Nissan may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
