iDrive Customer Insights

1. I uninstalled the app, and the charge was up to 33% within about 15 minutes!!Not impressed after installing the app I spent my day adding all my data (alldata double checked before saving) for the week only to find after double checking my data when opening the app up again that my kms and daily amounts are completely wrong so investigated each days data i found only one field with a total not equal the correct amounts.

2. Also i cant exit the app i have select ttask button to close the app.I bought new phone and backup to google drive creates a 0.2KB file that doesn't restore in the new phone.

3. Ruined my day, first time I tried it!! After about 4 hours of driving, on my way to a long distance pick-up, I noticed my battery was at 25%, it was about 93% when I started, and was plugged in the entire time.

4. I had to call, apologize, and tell the rider I had a problem with phone losing power, and he would have to rebook.

5. How I can loose all the info and receipts in old phone?Doesnt always keep accurate milage.

6. It does keep the hours you drive but what good does that do.It's a decent app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iDrive Issues

1. Fix iDrive Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iDrive: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iDrive App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iDrive" » Open iDrive for Uber » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iDrive » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iDrive for Uber app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iDrive servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iDrive for Uber" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iDrive app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iDrive might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iDrive. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iDrive then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iDrive not working


2. Fix iDrive Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iDrive be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iDrive not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iDrive may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
