Why should I report an Issue with Nate - A Subscription Manager?

Nate Customer Insights

1. Don't waste your time with this, just get pretty much any other subscriptions app.Like the list of popular subscriptions, but why does the custom item icon set limited to 8 vague icons? Why can't we add custom images or have a lot more icon options to choose from? Why can't the app have a calender view showing next payments for each subscriptions on our list? Why is there no notification option for upcoming payments? This is a list app that sums up the amounts and shows a x12 yearly sum number, but nothing more.Just a pretty list of your subscriptions that shows the yearly or monthly total amount and sort them by name, price or last added.

2. Developer stopped supporting this app.... not worth even a penny.... all you can do is list out your subscription which you can do for free on any notes app, this app DOES NOT give any reminders for your subscriptions so it's incredibly useless.

3. 3) Option to completely remove subscription icon, not only change it.This app has a great clean design and can really help you arrange your finances and let you see what the big bills are that you might wanna cut.

4. Please add that.Really like the app, wish I could set up reminders for center subscriptions and bills to get notified 6-1 days before they are charged again.Sort by Renewal Date is missing.

5. Hopefully the next update fixes the sort by price option.The app js clean with minimal UI.

7. I've emailed the developer multiple times asking for notification features and all emails have gone unanswered.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Nate Issues

1. Fix Nate Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Nate: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Nate App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Nate" » Open Nate - A Subscription Manager » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Nate » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Nate - A Subscription Manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Nate servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Nate - A Subscription Manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Nate app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Nate might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Nate. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Nate then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Nate not working


2. Fix Nate Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Nate be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Nate not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Nate may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
