1. A recent uopdate made it useless for ChromeOs, it won't scan any folders, and won't play any file even if I try to launch it from the files app( and it doesn't find any on it's scan, whereas it used to -- and I haven't changed any of the folders/drives it should be looking at).
2. Other video player apps may be similar but I haven't felt the need to try them. It's easy to use and plays pretty much any video format you would want to play.
3. There is no quick shortcut for SMB share on main menuVery good media player with the ability to properly read most video files.
4. However, MX Player has been reducing my video, that is playing, for an unknown reason, & giving me a message: if you want to use this feature, enable it in settings.
5. I'd also love to see an option to add the audio/video delay to the "quick options" as that can come up a lot when casting or on a Bluetooth speaker and the current setting is hidden away and you can't change its value at the same time as you see the videoI use this app to watch auto races in mp4 format on my 7" tablet.
6. It let's me copy a video to an effective Clipboard, but fails to move them to chosen folders and all chosen folders appear, empty even when they should have dozens of videos in them.
7. There are a few minor kludges, like not having any way to prevent the "can't open this file" errors that stop an automatic playlist and not having ANY context in that error as to what the file was that failed so that you can take action.
8. In other app, you can see which folder and which file was last viewed which is highlighted in different color.
9. I simply ignore the message and maximize, and continue playing it.Everything is good except for the inability to copy and move videos from one folder to the next.
10. After connect to SMB share, there is no way to do sorting by modify date/creation date in both folder listing and file listing.
11. I've restored 5 stars as the developer says they're working on the issue, so hopefully it will be fixed in a future update to work with the latest Android OS.Close to perfect, but 3 features are missing and pretty critical for me 1.
