1. I'm not sure how I've overlooked this app for so long, perhaps some of the bigger names feared replacement so they continuously held it down and shoved it back, into the abyss of the play store... Where no apps ever return from! Or perhaps it's just not that old? Google recommended your product and for the first time I tried it I'm hooked easy to use good product...I only have one request: it had an option to stay on, in the background 24-7got the security app as well...thnx guysHonestly been hard to find a legit free anti virus let alone cleaner along with.

5. I'm not constantly being bombarded by notifications to scan my phone, it starts quiet while doing it's job, and I really couldn't be more pleased.Easy. Best malware and repair app I've found.

1. Fix Scan Guard Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Scan Guard: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Scan Guard App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Scan Guard" » Open Scan Guard: Anti-Malware, Virus Cleaner & Anti Spy » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Scan Guard » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Scan Guard: Anti-Malware, Virus Cleaner & Anti Spy app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Scan Guard servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Scan Guard: Anti-Malware, Virus Cleaner & Anti Spy" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Scan Guard app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Scan Guard might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Scan Guard. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Scan Guard then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Scan Guard not working

2. Fix Scan Guard Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Scan Guard be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Scan Guard not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Scan Guard may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
